As of yesterday, they broke the dike. Here comes the water. If the water changes it's mind and decides to move faster there is trouble coming peoples way. This water is movig slow right now but it will eventually flood many homes and lives will be flushed down the drain. Everything you can't bring with you will get ruined and unsalvageable. I've seen videos of couples in boats because you don't know where the roads are. Many people will do what they can to leave but what if they get stranded? They would probrallyhave no water with them an be forced to drink the water surrounding them. This can cause diseases, sicknesses and other harmful things o the humans and animals.
