I travelled to Winnipeg two weekends ago and this past weekend. When I crossed the floodway and the Red River I noticed that the water has increased since I have been there. According to the Winnipeg news the flood is not suppose to reach its peak until the middle of this week. So it is very scary when you see how high it already is and look at the havick it is causing and then know that there is still more water to come. I feel sorry for the people who live near Manitoba in the flood area. They have to endure this crazy flood every single year. I am sure it gets frustrating and I am glad I do not have to go through it like they do. I would be terrified and annoyed.
