No Vehicles
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSr6L7wRwmU
This is a video of a flood in China. I`m not sure how old this video is but everything was under water, even their vehicles. Could you imagine not being able to go anywhere because your vehicle is under water? How would you get to a friends house or the grocery store. Although it would be great to get those days off school, but it would get kind of boring sitting at home doing nothing and not being able to go anywhere.

winnipeg flooding...
This weekend i was in winnnipeg and as we drove by the river i looked and seen that the trees were almost under the water and almost reaching the houses near there. If i was the people living in those houses i would be angry that there is a chance that the water will rise up and flood my house.

The Ice Jam

Watch this video and tell me you wouldnt be absolutely terrified to see this going by my house if I lived anywhere near the river where the ice flows. Imagine your sitting in your house and you see a huge peice of ice crash through your wall into your living room. This happens to some people but many more are affected by just the water but the ice is just adding insult to injury.

2 weekend ago i went saw river this weekend i personally saw the river with my own eyes again and i was astonished with how much it rised and the risk that it creats for people and there love ones and homes. Its so surprising to know that, in the summer that "river" isnt even egzistent. There must have been an alarming amount of snow melting to have a flood so deep! it really fritens me that over a thridty day period that bridges, homes, roads, and valleys can be flowed so deeply.

Still More Water To Come
I travelled to Winnipeg two weekends ago and this past weekend. When I crossed the floodway and the Red River I noticed that the water has increased since I have been there. According to the Winnipeg news the flood is not suppose to reach its peak until the middle of this week. So it is very scary when you see how high it already is and look at the havick it is causing and then know that there is still more water to come. I feel sorry for the people who live near Manitoba in the flood area. They have to endure this crazy flood every single year. I am sure it gets frustrating and I am glad I do not have to go through it like they do. I would be terrified and annoyed.

Extremely High Water
The water levels in Manitoba are extremely high. If that were happening here people would be evacuating the town and going on vacation. It would be kind of scary though because if the water flooded your house while you were sleeping, you may not be able to escape. It would also be kind of cool to be able to drive your boat around in you backyard.
